PEPPERIDGE FARMS PROVIDES MUCH-NEEDED SNACKS FOR
THE FAMILY PLACE
The Family Place
accepted a large donation in Pepperidge Farm products with gratitude via The
Family Place social media accounts
LOGAN, UT— The Family Place is excited to
announce the donation of 20 pounds of Pepperidge Farm products on November 25,
2016 to the new facility in North Logan. This donation will provide snacks to
children in Cache and Rich County who visit The Family Place nursery.
“We cannot thank Pepperidge Farm enough
for this generous donation,” said Executive Director Esterlee Molyneux. “As a
private non-profit, we rely heavily on organizations in the community to keep
our mission alive, and Pepperidge Farm has done just that.”
The Family Place nursery, known as The
Kid’s Place, is a place for parents to take children in times of need and while
attending parenting classes. The Kid’s Place also provides temporary shelter to
children who are taken out of homes due to abuse and addiction of caregivers.
The Kid’s Place sees an average of 500
visits a month, and this donation from Pepperidge Farm will go a long way
toward ensuring each child is well taken care of during their visit.
About the Family Place:
The Family Place, formerly known as The Child
and Family Support Center, was established in 1982. The nonprofit organization
has a mission of strengthening families and protecting children in the Cache
County area. The programs provided include education classes for parents and
children, counseling services, community activities and a 24-hour respite
nursery. The Family Place is a resource for all families to strengthen and
improve their relationships.

I thought your press release was well written and thoughtful. I thought your last paragraph was a good idea since it summed everything up and made me excited about the exchange. The only things I would change would be centering your headline since the sub-headline was centered and not saying "News Release" at the top since you already have it titled "Press Release" and say "For Immediate Release" right after. Good work!
ReplyDeleteThis was well constructed and I think the boilerplate is very well done. In your subhead, "with gratitude via The Family Place social media accounts" seemed a little unnecessary. We had trouble trying to add additional info to the subhead without being redundant, but the means of communicating gratitude probably doesn't need to be in the header
