Executive Summary
The Family Place is a non-profit organization focused entirely on building stronger families and keeping children safe. As an organization, we are proposing an exchange of 20 pounds of nursery snacks from Pepperidge Farms for regular social media recognition on all TFP platforms. This exchange is extremely valuable for both parties involved because the social media recognition from a community-respected organization is something that cannot be bought, and snacks are something extremely valuable to The Family Place because of our goal to help each child to feel comfortable while staying in the nursery. The major outcome of this exchange is a lasting relationship between The Family Place and Pepperidge farms, creating a partnership within the Cache County community.
Organization Appeal
The Family Place is approaching Pepperidge Farms for help with donations of snacks because we know that helping out the community is a priority for your company. The Family Place is a nonprofit organization, so it survives on donations and help from others. Ultimately, you would be helping a great cause, and feeding quality snacks to young children who need them. As one of your newest marketing campaigns was titled, we know a priority for your company is “Celebrating The Everyday Family Moments That Matter Most”. We know that by helping the Family Place by donating some of your snacks you would be able to further that marketing campaign, and really make a difference in your community here in Cache Valley.
Problem
As a private 501(c) 3 nonprofit charitable organization, The Family Place survives on community donors and grants. We receive no consistent government aid. This leaves a constant need for supplies and resources from our community. We run a 24/7 nursery for parents who are in emergency situations, and for children who are taken from homes for various reasons. This leaves a major need for snacks for the children. These are typically children who come from rough backgrounds, or have recently experienced a traumatic situation. It is our mission to provide these children with a comfortable, safe place to feel loved and comforted. Because The Family Place does not receive regular government funding, there are questions regularly as to where we will get the necessary supplies to keep The Family Place successfully running. Receiving donations in the form of Pepperidge farms products would go a long way in helping these little ones feel comfortable in a new temporary home.
In addition to the need for snacks at The Family Place nursery, we know Pepperidge Farms recognizes the need and importance of reaching out to community groups. As a large business, having positive community relations goes a long way in contributing to the face of the company itself. Broadcasting gratitude and recognition to Pepperidge Farms on all social media platforms for the snacks provided. This social media recognition will give the community recognition and positive public image Pepperidge Farms desires.
Objective
Our objective is to provide the Family Place with sufficient snacks to feed the children the help and to be able to promote and advertize Pepperidge Farm as a community leader here in cache valley. The exchange will provide the Family Place and Pepperidge Farm with desired outcomes. The Family Place is a place where many families come and it would be a great place to advertise for Pepperidge Farm. This provides a great opportunity to Pepperidge Farm’s as their target audience would most likely be families. For the Family Place it provides snacks for the children.
Our proposal is that Pepperidge Farm provides various snacks of their choosing to the Family Place once a month. In exchange the Family Place will advertize that they are sponsored by Pepperidge Farm on social media and at their building. Our team will take care of writing a press release and the advertising for pepperidge farm. The Family Place will put a poster up at their building to thank Pepperidge Farm. Since the Family Place is a private non-profit organization they rely solely on donations. They have always done a great job in promoting and advertising for their donors. On facebook the Family Place has over 2000 followers assumably in the cache valley area, the target audience of the local Pepperidge Farm.
Budget
The family place nursery has an average of 500 visits to the nursery per month. A monthly donation of approximately 20 pounds of crackers and/or cookies would provide one snack serving for more than half of these visits. Individually wrapped snacks are preferred, but not necessary.
Timeline
The timeline for this exchange will start on January 5th, 2017 when Pepperidge Farm will provide the requested 20 pounds of crackers, cookies, or other baked goods. At this time, The Family Place Nursery will begin integrating Pepperidge Farm into existing advertising campaigns. The Family Place will also advertise the partnership at their location with banners and food packaging provided by Pepperidge Farm.
This pattern of exchange will repeat itself on the 5th of every month. The contract is expected to last until December 5th, 2017. At that time, the contract may be revisited to determine whether to continue or terminate the agreement for the following year between The Family Place and Pepperidge farm.
Conclusion
The Family Place would love to work with your company, together changing the lives of many children and families. By a generous donation of snacks from your company monthly, we will be able to run a functional facility that meets the needs of the many children and families we see. The Family Place looks forward to advertising your company, who we know has the same family values as us, to see significant positive changes in families through what each company can offer.
